Imperfections

My imperfections make me unique

We were all born the way we look for a reason. The person who made us wanted us all to be unique. It would be weird if everyone looked the same. Our features that make us different aren’t imperfections. They are what makes us unique and beautiful in a different way from another person.

Just because you have larger ears, a sharper nose, greasy skin, a large forehead and so on, doesn’t mean you are less beautiful. Those imperfections are what make you stand out and who you are. You should be proud to not be like everyone else.

Growing up, I always hated my imperfections. I had greasy skin, large breasts and a fat stomach. I used to wear oversized hoodies to hide my body. I washed my face about five times a day.

It wasn’t until I got older that I realized these imperfections are what made me who I am. Don’t ever hide who you are. You are beautiful and others will see you are too.

  1. Imperfections haunts us as insecurities which makes things worse. Accepting yourself for who you are is very hard but it is what we have to live with. Being optimistic and not being afraid of showing our “imperfections” boosts our self confidence. 🙂
