Blogging Insights #10 — Looking back at your blog posts

img_2025

Salted Caramel has come out with another great blog prompt for the end of the year. Below are my responses.

How old is your current blog/website?

I started my blog about 3 years ago. I didn’t really start blogging until the beginning of this year. My blog is actually less than a year old if I count when I started seriously blogging only.

Do you ever look back at your site i.e. read through your old posts?

I don’t. My older posts are good and I post things even I don’t fully like them. My older ones were mostly word for word almost of where I got my info from. For this reason, I don’t want to reread my old posts. I still trying to find my voice as a blogger at that time.

How long ago did you update your about page ?

It was this summer. It still isn’t good. Talking about myself is difficult. I don’t know if I will feel comfortable enough to come up with a good one.

If you were to start a new blog today, what would you do differently?

Nothing. My interests wouldn’t change. I feel like I would still write about the same things. There is no topic better than your own experiences.

  1. Thank you for participating Michelle.
I thought I had replied to you when I first saw your link. Today when I read your post again to reblog it I realised that I hadn’t. I apologise for the delay. 🤗
I really liked your candid answers especially your last line
“There is no topic better than your experiences ”
I intend quoting it if I have your permission.
